What is your favourite UK travel destination? Isles of Scilly and Scotland
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? If you only have a small budget, make sure you invest it in your website, and invest in good photography, don’t leave selling your property to the imagination.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Exploring our beautiful South Devon coast and countryside (with Grace, our dog).

What do you bring to the Clockwork team? Over 10 years’ marketing experience including insight and critical thinking on marketing, websites and booking engines.
What is your favourite UK travel destination? I picked my favourite UK destination as the place I live (South Devon). But if I was to travel elsewhere, it would be Manchester – somewhere with a great central soul.
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Track everything so you can use data to make business decisions.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Being outdoors; cycling, running, camping, surfing.

Daniel Twigg Strategic Marketing Lead

What do you bring to the Clockwork team? Experience, insight and creative marketing ideas.
What is your favourite UK travel destination? Anywhere the surf is good.
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Consistently market your hotel and its benefits to new customers. All businesses lose customers and loyal customers on their own won’t keep you going. They are also not that loyal.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Surfing, sailing and hanging out with my family.

Grant Pearce Head of Technical Innovation

What do you bring to the Clockwork team? I bring a wealth of experience, working with leading tech companies who have helped lead the way in scalable, event-driven architecture in the UK. I have worked with various technology stacks and I'm fluent in many programming languages including Typescript, JavaScript, PHP, Terraform, Serverless, MySQL and various frameworks such as Laravel and React to create an innovative solution for clients.
What is your favourite UK travel destination? Devon or Cornwall.
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? With Technology always plan for the future, allow for scalability and growth.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Outside of Clockwork, Grant spends a lot of time with his family and enjoys the luxuries of living in Devon.

Tina Woodcock Gift Voucher Manager

What do you bring to the Clockwork team? Having spent over 30 years in the hospitality industry I bring a wealth of knowledge, practical operational and marketing experience to the team.
What is your favourite UK travel destination? I consider myself very lucky as I live in Cornwall and work in Devon but I also love a visit to London.
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Hire a specialist, the landscape changes constantly so it will be well worth the investment.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Gardening, baking and kayaking.

What do you bring to the Clockwork team? With a varied background in arts and hospitality management, I'm able to provide admin/client support to most areas of the business.
What is your favourite UK travel destination? Windsor is one of our family favourites. It's also super easy to hop on the train to London from there.
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Make sure that you are targeting the right audience for your business
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Running around after my toddler! When I do get time to myself I enjoy swimming and reading.

If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Today's digital world is all about photography! Images are the quickest, most powerful way of transmitting information. Our brains process visuals 60,000 times faster than text, so it’s vital to invest in professional photography.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? I enjoy getting lost in the wilderness.

Ian Kelly Digital Marketing Manager

What do you bring to the Clockwork team? I bring 15 years of SEO and digital marketing knowledge and expertise, along with a sense of humour to keep the office in good spirits.
What is your favourite UK travel destination? My favourite travel destination within the UK would have to be the Cotswolds, such stunning countryside and places to explore.
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? My top digital tip would be, don’t just have a website, ensure you optimise for search effectively. Remember it’s the shop window to your business.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my little son Toby, who was born in May. I'm very sporty and play cricket for my local side Honiton Town in the Devon Cricket League. I'm also an avid supporter of Liverpool FC and Exeter Chiefs and try to get to many games as possible.

If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Make sure that you are regularly monitoring and reviewing your online marketing activity to understand what works for your business (and what doesn't).
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Walking, cooking and a new found love for knitting

Ella Usher Senior Account Manager

What unique magic do you bring to the Clockwork team? I'm a creative person so I love bringing this to clients both visually for branding and thinking creatively!
Where's your happy place in the UK when you need a getaway? Scotland will always be a special place to escape to and explore! Especially the highlands 😄
From your experience, what's your #1 golden tip for hospitality businesses navigating the digital world? I would say to find your niche and run with it. I think people love businesses that are a little unique - and if you are playing to what makes you 'you' then it feels authentic, which I think is important.
What lights you up when you're not working the day job? I love being outdoors, weekends are usually filled with bike rides or getting out onto the moors for a good walk.

What is your favourite UK travel destination? Mawgan Porth. A very small Cornish town that has made the most incredible memories for me.

What is your favourite UK travel destination? Hound Tor is my favourite spot to visit, as I have seen many incredible sunsets from this spot!
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Don’t underestimate the power of good SEO. You can have top notch content, but without SEO, the content won’t give you the results you would expect.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? I enjoy hiking, camping, and having open-minded discussions about the deeper aspects of life and what it means.

Maintain beautiful and eye-catching visuals across your brand to stand out from the crowd, and experiment with new ideas to keep pushing the boundaries – aesthetic makes a huge difference on how we feel and respond to something.

What do you bring to the Clockwork team? I am hard working and very passionate about programming, I enjoy thinking outside of the box and bringing in fresh ideas for development, as well as keeping up to date with the latest technologies.
What is your favourite UK travel destination? Devon! I moved from Nottingham over 17 years ago and have been loving it here ever since.
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? It's so important to have a modern and up to-date website, as it's usually the first thing potential customers see. A well optimised, easy to use website that is aesthetically pleasing increases brand awareness and sets you apart from competitors.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? Fishing and going to the gym, also eating food.

What is your favourite UK travel destination? My favourite location in the UK is St Ives, every time I go, I find a new place to explore, amazing food and beautiful beaches!
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Regularly optimise your website for conversions, it is super important to drive revenue.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? When I'm not at work I have lots of hobbies, but I love to spend time outside in the sun with friends. Whether that is at the beach or in the garden.

What do you enjoy doing when not at work? I enjoy coaching fencing and spending time with the family.

What do you bring to the Clockwork team? I love working with people and have worked in hospitality in various guises over the years, therefore recognise the value in offering impeccable customer service.
What is your favourite UK travel destination? Anywhere with a beach and a sea view makes me happy and energised but I particularly love North Devon and its coastline.
If there was one top tip you could give to hospitality businesses in the digital age, what would it be? Having a first-rate user-friendly website that is appealing, functional and easy to navigate. Ensuring that your key selling features are obvious to the customer.
What do you enjoy doing when not at work? I have a very busy family life which keeps me on my toes but when time permits I am a keen runner and enjoy plodding around the local park runs. One of my biggest passions is musical theatre and I will watch anything that involves singing and/or dancing!

What is your favourite UK travel destination? I love exploring Dartmoor, where I grew up, and always enjoy visiting Wistman’s Wood.

My favourite UK travel destination is Bath, Somerset, where I often take in the roman architecture whilst enjoying a local cider.

My one tip for hospitality businesses in the digital age is to invest in scalable and modular solutions to ensure services are always available to their target audience & new features are integrated seamlessly.

What do you enjoying doing when not at work?
When not at work, I enjoy photography, playing snooker and pool & travelling around Devon.
